The LACPA organized two workshops on Internal Control, Internal Audit: Perceptions VS. Standards on 6 and 7 October 2018 in LACPA premises in Beirut and on 1 December 2018 in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Tripoli.
The two workshops were presented by the LACPA member, Mr. Elie Safar, a trainer and consultant in internal audit topics.
These workshops discussed the roles, frameworks, and standards applicable to internal control, internal audit, and external audit since, the accounting and auditing services emerged to a state where they became invaluable in any business cycle, and the distinction between such services, and the role of the service providers, is a challenge.
